Jeremiah LeRoy

Director of Coaching, Varsity and U15 Head Coach

Jeremiah grew up in California where he began playing soccer at the age of 5. Jeremiah played competitive soccer including many years of club, travel, and High School Varsity.  After High School Jeremiah earned a full ride scholarship to play soccer at California State University, Fresno.  After college Jeremiah traveled to Europe where he played professionally for a short time with FC Kutzhof.

Jeremiah has coached soccer for over 12 years with experience as a Head Coach at the following levels: youth recreation, youth club, high school junior varsity, and high school varsity.  Jeremiah is an active coach with Southern Indiana United’s Club program where he is the Head Coach of the 2004/2005 boys team. Jeremiah currently holds a US Soccer D Coaching License.

Jeremiah is a Christian with a passion for the truth. He grew up in a Christian home where he was home-schooled by his loving mother and father. Jeremiah is married to Stefanie LeRoy, his college sweetheart, they have been married for 20 years and have 4 sons.  

Jeremiah looks forward to working with your children and inspiring them to achieve great things both on the soccer field and in life!

Steve Christy

Varsity & U15 Assistant Coach

Steve grew up in New York, where he began playing soccer at 6 years of age.  Steve continued to play soccer throughout his youth and into high school.  Steve has been involved in soccer as a player and/or a coach for many years. Most recently, Steve was an assistant coach with a homeschool soccer team that won the Indiana State tournament 2 out of 3 years and were runners up the 3rd year.

Steve and his wife Miriam have 3 children whom they homeschool in Southern Indiana.  Prior to moving to Indiana, Steve and Miriam worked for 10 years in Peru with a missionary team that spread the gospel into remote areas of the country.

In addition to soccer, Steve enjoys spending time camping, hiking, flying RC airplanes or driving RC rock crawlers with his family.    

Christopher Mueller

Varsity & U15 Assistant Coach 

Chris Mueller played a lot of sports as a youth, including soccer.  Along the way he learned that he enjoyed and excelled at Music more than sports, which is probably why he ended up being a professional musician.  

Chris is happy to work with coach Jeremiah and see how the right combination of leadership, determination, and teaching lead to success on and off the soccer pitch.  

Chris and his wife Constanza have 3 children whom they homeschool.

In addition to soccer, Chris enjoys leisure lake swimming, playing and listening to jazz music and relaxing with family, friends, and his 2 dogs.

Stefanie LeRoy

Mini-gator Coach/Coordinator, Team Scheduler and Videographer 

Stefanie was a competitive cross county and track runner throughout high school and college.  During high school, Stefanie won many races in the following distances: 4x 400 meter, 800 meters, Mile, 2 Mile and 5K. During her junior year Stefanie won the individual valley championship title in cross country. While in high school, Stefanie qualified and competed at the state and regional championship for 4 seasons in cross country and 3 seasons in track & field. 

After high school, Stefanie earned a full scholarship to Fresno Pacific University to run cross country and track & field. While in college Stefanie qualified for nationals multiple times and competed with some of the best runners in the country. During her senior year of track & field, she met her husband Jeremiah LeRoy on the track team. Stefanie graduated from college with a Kinesiology degree. The following year Stefanie and Jeremiah got married, she taught P.E. and attended college soccer games to watch Jeremiah play. Stefanie has a US Soccer Grassroots 11v11 Coaching License. 

Stefanie and Jeremiah have 4 boys who they homeschool. Since meeting Jeremiah, Stefanie has been actively involved in soccer related activities for 16 years including; coaching, team management, scheduling, videography, party planning and much more.

Jose Gallegos

U12 Head Coach

Jose grew up in Tijuana Mexico where he entered the club system at 8 years of age. Jose played on the Rancho Alegre club team for 4 years and then transferred to Verde Y Crema where he played another 4 years.  At 17 years of age Jose began playing competitive indoor soccer where he won 5 league titles over the next 7 years.

At 29 years of age, Jose began working with the Mexican National soccer team, Jose worked primarily in United States as an athletic facilities and equipment assistant. Jose continued working with the Mexican National Soccer team for 6 years.

Jose then began working as a restaurant and auto shop owner in California. In 2018 Jose moved with his family to New Albany, Indiana where he now resides. Jose owns and operates an auto shop in New Albany, Indiana.

Daranion Sair

U12 Assistant Coach & Mini-gator Assistant Coach

Daranion grew up in the Bahamas where he competed in basketball, track & field, and swimming.  Daranion is an outdoorsman who enjoys ocean swimming, spear and rod fishing and boating.  Daranion has grown to love the game of soccer and has been an avid supporter of Mitigator FC, and of it’s players over the last 3 years.  Daranion has a US Soccer Grassroots 11v11 Coaching License.

Daranion was a level 1 lifeguard at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas until 2018 when he moved to Southern Indiana to pursue a career as an Electrician.  Currently, Daranion is working as an Electrician and at UPS. 

Daranion and his Italian American wife Naomi have 1 daughter with another on the way!
